Martin Luther once said that “The Christian life is not righteousness, but growth in righteousness; not health, but healing; not being but becoming; not rest but exercise. We are not yet what we shall be, but we are growing toward it, the process is not yet finished, but it is going on, this is not the end, but it is the road. All does not yet gleam in glory, but all is being purified.”
In other words, we have work to do. At Bloomington Covenant Church, we firmly believe that our lives are not about being, but becoming, and we provide resources that enable and empower every individual to reach their full potential in Christ.
From small groups to Bible studies, to adult and children’s learning opportunities, we are committed to helping our faith community grow together.
Learning opportunities for children and adults begins in September and a full slate of Wednesday night activities – including supper, ELL tutoring, Bible study, middle school and high school youth groups. Our engaging BCovKids program reaches children with God’s love and with fun and interactive experiences. Please refer to our calendar for opportunities to connect and thrive.
